Slumdog Millionaire

"Slumdog Millionaire" wins 8 Oscars!! I'm a little disappointed that it didn't win more. Whatever you want in a film this has it all - great story, romance, comedy, characterisation, social comment, travel...... it's all there. It's the best film I've seen in a good many years and if you haven't seen it yet, I strongly urge a visit to the cinema some time soon.

On the other hand, "The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button" won two Oscars, which is a fair old achievement, and although it's a good enough watch and quite thought provoking, it's a shame there isn't an Oscar for "Interminable Length", because this would win it hands down.
