These photos have much sentimental value, as the pets have been an integral part of our lives, and time is inevitably short for small animals.
It will soon become apparent that the vast majority of the animals are cats. Whilst I'm certainly NOT anti dog (or indeed anti any other animal) I think it sort of highlights the sort of person I am. I am very much a "cat person" - I respect and love their independence and aloofness, it's how I see myself . It's a pity that my current circumstances - no cat flap and the impossibilty of having one fitted - mean that I cannot in all conscience keep a pet.This page has been updated from 02.02.13 onwards - it was originally published in the earliest days of my website.
