"G'day!!",

as Richie Benaud would say.

My name is James Buckley and I live in Irlam, which is a leafy, picturesque and desirable suburb of Manchester, in England. Quite the stockbroker belt, to be honest. We have guaranteed heavy rain for 365 days per year, and I frequently spend longer in massive traffic jams than I do at work. My job is working for the government and it's all terribly hush hush, so I'd better not say any more!  A bit of navigating round the site will soon give you a flavour of my interests, suffice to say that, being born within half a mile of the ground, I support Manchester United, and there is no better way of spending a nice sunny summer's day than watching Lancashire play cricket, mainly at Old Trafford, but occasionally on an away ground. It's even better if  accompanied by lashings of real ale, and some good loud rock music on my i-pod. However, there is one thought that will strike you quite forcibly after looking at this site: "that bloke needs to get out more!"

Enough of me: on my website you will be able to see some fantastic photographs, read some interesting articles and enjoy all the fun of the Super Information Highway!

Amongst other goodies, you will sometimes be able to take part in a straw poll on items of topical interest. However, I haven't changed the subject for about two years, so tough s**t!

The Hit Counter will reveal how incredibly popular the site is.

The real joy of "The Buckley Experience" comes with clicking onto the various links, especially those pages created by me. One so called "friend" said there was enough in here to get me certified - ha ha!!.

Please have a look at my very own Blog by clicking on the link. No holds barred, I promise - except that I can't really talk about work all that much - and friends and relatives can be a bit touchy if I mention them. As I work for the government I have to be fairly guarded in what I say about them, too - and these days, everything just has to be so awfully politically correct  - so come to think of it, is actually quite restricted!

I have added a link so that you can see the latest, regularly updated weather forecast for the Manchester area. Always guaranteed to be 100% accurate or I will eat my hat.

Please do me a favour: If you spot any broken links, please e-mail me to let me know, thanks

No matter whether you loved it or hated it, please let me know!

Thanks for visiting - and please come back soon!
