Cricket At Blackpool

Well done, Blackpool Evening Gazette. Spotted in their edition of Thursday 31 August 2006, is the following article, which I would like to dedicate to the two ladies featured.

I do not know them, and I have never met them, but their dedication to the cause of Lancs cricket is second to none. It always brings me a great deal of cheer that people can overcome their problems and make the most out of life, and if attending matches at Lancashire can help, then it sums up the true nature and spirit of cricket.

To all aficionados they are affectionately known as the "A*** B******s" - but this is meant lovingly and in the best possible taste. Long may they continue enjoying the cricket, and may the sun shine for them!
